Over the years, Master Gardeners of Greene County has developed a reputation in the community for its quality programs.

The Annual Plant Sale, is our chapter’s major fundraiser and is always the last Saturday in April and offers area gardeners an opportunity to purchase a wide variety of hardy plants at bargain prices.

In addition, we often host exhibits, classes, and activities at annual events such as the Lawn & Garden Show in February.

Want to learn something about gardening every week? Our Potting Shed University series of free gardening classes starting in February for eight consecutive Mondays.

Annual events include our award winning Young Sprouts in the Garden and you’ll find us at the Friends of the Garden Butterfly Festival in July. From time to time we collaborate with libraries, local schools, The Botanical Center, and several nonprofit organizations in the area to consult with special projects that benefit the community.
