Learn to grow garlic and taste some unique varieties at the 2018 Annual Garlic Festival and Workshop.

Speakers and topics will include:

• Patrick Byers, MU Extension Horticulturist : Garlic Growing Overview (how to choose the best garlic strain, planting and caring for garlic, and the harvest and storage of garlic)

• Pam Duitsman, MU Extension Health and Nutrition Specialist : Garlic Nutrition

• Rusty Lee, MU Extension Agronomy Specialist : Commercial Garlic Production – a Farmer’s Perspective

The evening will conclude with a garlic tasting. There will not be a sale of garlic due to poor yields for the 2017-2018 growing season.
