Become a Master Gardener!

If you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener and joining the Master Gardeners of Greene County, 2017 Core Training for new members begins Thursday, February 16, 2017.  Classes will be held from 1-4 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center and at the Library Station through April 11.  The cost to attend the classes is $150 per person or $255 for couples sharing a textbook.  If interested or for more information, contact Kelly McGowan, MU Extension Horticulture Educator, at (417) 874-2965 or u. Dates for the orientation sessions are Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6-8 pm and Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Attendance to one of these orientation sessions is mandatory in order to register.
