In 2016, volunteers from Friends of the Garden and Master Gardeners of Greene County are partnering to offer two great events in one and on the same day! Young Sprouts in the Garden, a free event which offers hands-on gardening adventures for children, will join the line-up of activities at the popular Butterfly Festival. This combined event will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. In addition to the gardening activities already mentioned, there will be face painting, balloon art, crafts, a costume contest, metamorphosis crawl, and a caterpillar petting zoo! This fun for the whole family also includes a variety of vendors selling wares to inspire your gardening lifestyle and to celebrate our native butterflies.
