The 40th Anniversary Update for the Greene County Master Gardener Anthology Team will meet on Tuesday, August 12th, at 5:00 PM in the Conference Room at the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center (right before the July chapter meeting). We will be sharing our progress and setting goals for the Fall. Our hope is have all the text done before Thanksgiving and copies of the updated version available for purchase at the State Conference in June 2026.

Please join us if you’re interested in participating or learning more about the project. As a reminder, we’re hoping to record our history by updating and expanding the 30 Years of Cultivating Soils, Souls & Minds anthology compiled by Lola Fry and are looking for:

• Writers who will help us document our history and timeline, stories and anecdotes, and send noteworthy publications our way
• Photographers who will share their best photos of our gardens, events, and people
• Those interested in non-traditional media to help us with audio and video recordings of our members.
