Become a Master Gardener!

If you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener and joining the Master Gardeners of Greene County, 2018 Core Training for new members begins Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Classes will be held from 6-9 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Springfield Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic Ave and will continue through early April. The cost to attend the classes is $160 per person or $275 for couples sharing a training manual. The program fee covers a training manual, class handouts, speaker fees and other expenses related to the class. Dates for the orientation sessions are Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6-8 pm. Attendance to one of these orientation sessions is mandatory in order to register. If you do not live in Greene County contact your local University of Missouri County Extension office for guidance.
